Beyond Hadrian's Wall

Ambling Ramble

So i’ve decided that whenever possible, if it’s something I saw, or something that happened in my life that I’m posting about here, I will try an include visual aids  (no, not like efuckt)  in the form of images and videos.

To kick off this new way of doing things, i decided to give an account of today, which was rather fun:

It being friday and me not having any lectures, I decided that I wouldn’t even consider waking till 11 today. When I finally did emerge, it turned out to be about 12ish. Having told Nikita I wanted to see Ninewells hospital and medical school yesterday, i quickly scurried over to hers and we left together at 2, her in an awfull hurry and me just enjoying the sights (I spotted a store call highlander games which Nikita told me stocked highland games type equipment but when I investigated on the way back seemed to contain an anime-manga-roleplaying-cardgame shop). We passed a graveyard and then proceeded down a hill with a really pretty veiw towards ninewells which reminded me of iceland with the snow on the hills opposite. veiw from above ninewells

Eventually we arrived, 45 mins and 4 miles after leaving (we ended up being early in the end) and Kita went to her lab. This left me to wander back slowly, taking pictures, climbing on walls, enjoying the peace and quiet between the town and the city. I stopped by the 24hr bakers to buy a gut buster (your standard bacon and cheese and egg arteryclogger 1/4 pounder, but with two of everything, including the burger)  then sat and ate it in the graveyard, enjoying some company from its residents, shivering in spite of my 4 layers of clothes. Despite the obvious emptiness of the area, snatches of laughter kept reaching me, seemingly from all directions and none. When i was finished eating, I left, a little spooked but weirdly happy. Getting back towards the university, I started looking at signs and noticed the side roads coming off the one I was walking on: Elm Street,  Deathwall Drive and Nightvale. As I left the road, just before I reached my building, I saw it’s name:

Blackness
